Publications
The ACAMS Publications module is a database system for storage, retrieval and display of documents relevant for ATC operations. Examples of such documents are:

• Local Rules and Regulations
• Regional Letters of Agreement
• ICAO Documents
• Aeronautical Information Publications
• Aeronautical Information Circular

The system stores the documents as files in HTML or PDF format depending on the type and size of the document. HTML is usually used for small documents and PDF for large and very large documents. If the source document is not in either of these formats, the built-in converter can be used.

The document files are linked to a database which contains relevant details such as title, keywords (search words), revision, responsible, validity date, previous version, new version etc. which allows for efficient search, retrieval and management of the documents.

The Publications module utilises web browser technology allowing integration with other information types and sources.

The database tables and publication files are replicated to both servers for increased availability.
