Direction Finder
The ACAMS DF module provides the user with continuous DF monitoring for one or several frequencies. The DF information is presented as an analogue and/or digital value. DF information for more than one frequency may be displayed if available from the DF receiver. The information presented can be selected according to user preference, for example own transmitter inhibit, magnetic or true north.


The ACAMS system interfaces to the DF receiver via standard interfaces in the servers or via a PLC subsystem depending on the type of DF equipment.

The servers perform pre-processing of the DF data to provide the information required by the user. Separate client programs running at each operator position present the data to the user. A fault in the DF receiver will be indicated at the operator positions.
The ACAMS system supports all known DF equipment.
