Video Surveillance
The ACAMS Video module allows the user to monitor remote locations
by video. The video is presented in a window on the ACAMS screen.
A number of video cameras can be integrated and be selected individually
by the user. The user can pan, tilt and zoom if supported by the video
camera system.
The ACAMS system interfaces to video cameras via COTS video input
cards in the dualised servers. The servers distribute the video to
the clients according to the user selections. The view selection and
control software runs as separate programs on each client PC. A fault
on one position will not affect the operation at the other positions.
