StatoilHydro ACAMS AS delivers its Integrated ATC Tower Solutions to
Rio de Janeiro International Airport, Galeão
In October 2007, ACAMS AS were contracted by CISCEA* of Brazil to facilitate a complete modernization of the Visual Control Room of the ATC Tower of the Rio de Janeiro International Airport, Galeão.

This project involves EBCO Systems of Brazil - ACAMS AS’s partner and representative in Brazil. The implementation process remains ongoing and is currently progressing well and in line with the tight schedule.

ACAMS AS:
A key player behind the New ATC TWR at Cairo International Airport
ACAMS AS was selected by the Egyptian Orascom Construction Industries to supply a number of the ACAMS Airport Tower Solutions to the TWR at Cairo International Airport. Orascom is the main contractor involved in the construction and equipping of the new TWR at Cairo International Airport and ACAMS AS was selected by Orascom and approved by the Egyptian client - National Air Navigation Services Company.

NDB Monitoring & Control System for StatoilHydro ASA
During 2007 and 2008 ACAMS AS have engineered and delivered a NavAids Monitoring and Control system specially adapted to the its customer StatoilHydro ASA, Norway’s largest oil company.
StatoilHydro operates several oil oil platforms in the North Sea, and NDBs (Non Directional Beacon) helps guiding the extensive Helicopter traffic to and from the off-shore platforms.
To help operate and improve safety, ACAMS AS was contracted to supply the NDB Monitoring & Control System for 10 North Sea Oil platforms in the.

ACAMS ERC2 Radio Panels for NATS
ACAMS ERC2 are panels for providing Air Traffic Controllers with alternative access to the A/G radio resources in case of VCCS failures.

The ERC2 concept was developed for Avinor and Norwegian airports as a simple, safe and cost effective solution and alternative to a full back-up VCCS.
ACAMS provides the ERC2 to NATS as subcontractor to Park Air Systems AS. Park Air Systems presented the ER2 units as part of their AAS (alternative Access System) in the overall system solution for their new very large project with UK NATS.
